Wives Tales

I guess I'm in shock. I've always been told you can't get prenant when you're nursing. NOT TRUE!!! Apparently I'm not only pregnant now but have been pregnant for 13 weeks. Odd, since I only quit nursing my 9 month old about 6 weeks ago. HMMMM. . . . something just doesn't add up.
Oh well, I could go through the list of "gripes" right now: I'm not ready, my body needs a break, how am I going to travel, sing, and run my business with three kids ages 3 and under. Bottom line - this is a blessing from Lord. I actually even think I felt the little bean move tonight. Maybe it's all in my head. Anyway, I've had my emotional "come-apart" and now I'm ready to move on and make my house ready for baby #3 - my hearts already there!

Congratulations from the NC Stephens Family! :o)

That's so amazing that you made it through your first trimester without knowing you were pregnant. I was VERY VERY sick during my first trimester...so I'd call that a huge blessing!!

Praying for God to give you his strength and peace as you prepare for this newest addition to your family.

We're praying for this baby and for you. How exciting! We loved your video on fb! We're in AWE of God too. Do you wonder if this is a girl, sneaking in like that??? LOL!

Congratulations, Heather. I know that you guys are going to do a great job with 3. What a blessing. Yeah, I have never really believed in the not getting pregnant while nursing thing. I have heard too many stories ;). Enjoy your pregnancy. I guess it's a good thing humans carry babies for 9 months huh?
Congrats again. I love you guys!

I am so excited for you guys=) I know exactly how you feel...We got pregnant with Zkee when Areyna was 6 months old. I always knew you could still get pregnant while breastfeeding but we just weren't that cautious. Anyway, now I LOVE that they are so close together and can't wait for our #3 to join in their fun. You are going to do just fine on the road. I've been worried about that too with us being pregnant. So far, the hardest part has been the late nights at these winter retreats that leave me so tired that it makes me nauseous.

Okay, just rambling, I'm just thrilled for you guys=)

So excited for you two! I am still breastfeeding Elias and worry every once in a while that I might be pregnant - we're not, but those thoughts are there every once in a while. You have always amazed me at the feats you conquer in Jesus and encourage me to pick up my head and look heavenward! You will find his grace sufficient for 3 kids under 3 years old, traveling, singing, and working! Praying for you all as you prepare for the next blessing in the Cartee family!

Much Love,
